This photo was taken at John Lloyd Beach State Park in Dania, Florida. Such damage is typical of the storms and hurricanes that rake our coasts. Millions of dollars are spent every year restoring Florida's beaches for the state depends on visitations from tourists with money in their pockets!

Randy is right, your composition makes the damage look like a piece of art. Great shot!

It's good to have some kind of strong industry. I'm sure the money spent on repairs is well worth the returns.

The beaches on our coast get a lot of storm damage too. Last time I was on the Oregon coast I took pics of the damage done by the storm that passed through the night before. Nothing like the Hurricans you get there but bad enough. MB

I'm guessing the waters were a little more active than what you had pictured in the last photo. Looks like they might have gotten down right choppy.

I guess tourists bring in way more money than it costs to keep the beaches cleaned up.

Oh, that's bad..... Hurricanes can really devastate places. I remember as a kid we had 'repercussions' from hurricanes in Pennsylvania and they created havoc, though not major damage.
