I just saw a show on PBS called "Travels to the Edge" with photographer Art Wolfe. It was a trip to Africa and he photographed a simply huge flock of flamingos. It was a spectacular sight seeing those beautiful birds flying.

This is amazing! That one flamingo looks like it's getting ready for lift off. We have some here but they are all plastic.

I can only say those flamingos are SO much prettier in the feather than the "invasive" species of the Pacific Northwest, plasticus fakus.
